After earlier transfer news reports that Spanish top-side Barcelona would be interested in Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin, it has appeared that Barca actually has approached the Gunners to inquire about a potential transfer.
Arsenal have been firm in their stance towards a potential Hector Bellerin move away from the club. Under no circumstances are the Gunners willing to negotiate a transfer for the 21-year old. Bellerin on the other hand will most likely replace Daniel Carvajal in the Spanish squad for Euro 2016 in France. The Real Madrid defender suffers from an injury and will most likely be ruled out of the Euro 2016.
This can only mean that the interest for Hector Bellerin will continue to increase, and more clubs will come knocking on Arsenals door to secure the services of the Spanish player.
Hector Bellerin born and raised in Barcelona
Barcelona is looking to reinforce its defense on the right-side because of the departure of Dani Alves to Juventus. The Brazilian international player signed a three-year contract with the club from Turin that has won the league title in Italian Serie A for the last 5 years. He left Barcelona on a free transfer after he was only offered a one-year extension at the beginning of last season.
Hector Bellerin has spend the vast majority of his youth playing for Barcelona, and is considered another product of the famous Barcelona youth academy La Masia. After his move to Arsenal, and the impressive season he has played, it seems like a natural fit if Bellerin would return ‘home’.
