A new £12 million casino is set to open in Dudley, West Midlands, after they were able to obtain the required licenses which will allow them to operate. The casino which was previously known as Castle Casino will move to Castle gate Dudley where it shall be relaunched and rebranded as Casino 36.
The Emms Gilmore Liberson (EGL) is a law firm that has helped the firm with its licensing requirements. The firm’s regulatory services director, Peter Adkins, confirmed that the casino and bingo hall project which had been proposed is now set to open. This is after they were successful at acquiring the alcohol and gambling licenses from the Dudley Council. All casinos have to obtain these licenses before they can become operational.
The Casino will indeed prove to be a great investment as it was also able to acquire 24-hour gambling licenses. This means it can operate all day long thus maximizing on interest.
The building that will house the Casino 36 will be a two storied building. The bingo hall will be on the ground floor where it will be able to host 450 people at the same time. The real show will be on the first floor where the casino will be. At the casino, people will get a chance to play their most loved games like the roulette, blackjack among others.
Additionally, the company seeks to introduce a second site in Dudley. More than £ 12 million has been set aside to facilitate that project. Many jobs are set to be created when the second casino becomes operational.
Casino 36 also manages a £7.6 million casino in Wolverhampton which opened last year in November. Peter Adkins stated that he has worked with this casino over the last four years. During that period, he has actively been involved in helping Casino 36’s casino in getting licenses as per the set regulations. In furtherance of providing services through his law firm, Peter will continue working on a second scheme of the Casino in which will be in the Black Country town.
He said that by obtaining the licenses, it made a step towards the realization of Dudley’s Casino 36. He is hopeful that the strategic location of the casino will go a great way into ensuring that it benefits the whole town. He further explained that it the casino is likely to be a success from the go just as the Wolverhampton was. To finalize on its preparation to open, Casino 36 will have to make a new pedestrian crossing at the Castlegate Park as was advised by the Dudley planning officers.
