Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts has signed for Celtic on an 18-month loan deal. The England Under-19 player joined City from Fulham in the summer where he was hailed an ‘an extraordinary talent’.
Patrick’s contract with City was to run till 2020 but he had little appearances in the games. He will hopefully be used as a regular player for the Hoops.
He expressed his happiness by saying:
“Manchester City know I need to be playing football and they were happy for me to come up her,” said Roberts.
“Celtic are huge in Scotland and huge in Europe and this is what I want.
“I’m here for a long time and want to be successful as anyone else.”
