Wales vs Northern Ireland Betting Tips: PREDICTIONS AND TIPS
Being their first European Championship ever, either team should plausibly be contented with whatever result they get tonight. But don’t brace yourself for an insipid match. Both of them were pretty lively in the group stages regardless of the opponent, and their presence here is well and truly deserved. There was however that better and surer performer, whom we can’t deny has the upper hand going into the game, and in our opinion is Wales. Led by Gareth Bale, Chris Coleman’s men beat Russia and Slovakia fair and square to win Group B, and only lost to England through a last minute Sturridge strike. Northern Ireland, on the other hand, won only one and lost two of its group stage matches but progressed as one of the four best third-placed finishers. They have been quoted at a lucrative 15/4 to win in normal time and 1/2 extra time and penalties included. Wales on the other hand are 19/20 to win in normal time and 2/5 to win either in normal time, in extra time or by penalties. A draw has been quoted at 2/1.
Wales vs Northern Ireland Betting Tips: FIRST/ANYTIME GOALSCORERS
Since we started backing Bale, he hasn’t failed us, and hopefully he’s going to keep up with the goal scoring form for at least one more match. He has been quoted at 16/5 to score the first goal of the match and 5/4 to score anytime. Sam Vokes, Aaron Ramsey and Hal Robson-Kanu all follow at 11/2 to open the scoring and 6/4 to score anytime. Conor Washington, who is the joint first Northern Ireland player to appear in this list, has the same odds as compatriot Kyle Lafferty to score the opening goal (17/2) and score anytime (3/1).
Wales vs Northern Ireland Betting Tips: OVER/UNDER 2.5 MATCH GOALS
A match between Wales and Northern Ireland has produced more than two goals just twice. That’s after eight attempts. Wales have been predominant most of the times but have hardly broken the two-goal barrier. But it’s their thing; they have barely shown any difference in the last couple of fixtures. Prior to the 3-0 thrashing of Russia, they had scored only four times in five fixtures, losing thrice in the process and winning once. Northern Ireland, on the other hand, have scored more than two goals only once in their last seven fixtures, and have actually scored more than one twice. I fancy a -2.5 scoreline tonight, which is priced at 2/5 above +2.5, quoted at 11/5.
Betting Tips Euro 2016 Wales vs Northern Ireland: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
Both teams to score is 6/4 to happen, according to Betfair, and 8/15 not. For reasons we have discussed above, I back the latter. And since I back Wales to win in normal time, I accordingly expect them to win with a clean sheet.

Betting Tips Euro 2016 Croatia vs Portugal: PREDICTION AND TIPS
Portugal are simply lucky to be here after finishing behind Hungary and Iceland in the group stage, but will come into the match with a better head-to-head record which they would sure wish to scare Croatia with. They have won all of their three fixtures against The Blazers, and are yet to concede a goal by them. That said, Croatia are in a better run of form having collected seven points in the group stage to win their group ahead of Spain. They have actually not lost in their latest seven fixtures, and have only one draw against Czech Republic to taint an otherwise remarkable winning streak. According to Betfair, they are at a better position of winning this match in normal time at 17/10 than Portugal whom they have quoted at 21/10. A draw is priced at 2/1.
Betting Tips Euro 2016 Croatia vs Portugal: FIRST/ANYTIME GOALSCORERS
“Cristiano is back to his best” were the headlines in the wake of his brace against Hungary in their last group stage fixture. That’s the Ronaldo the world knows, and if he can maintain that form, then a goal or two from him is something Croatia should be ready to deal with. He is quoted at a realistic 6/4 to score anytime and 4/1 to score the first goal. Mario Mandzukic, who hasn’t scored in this tournament yet despite the hype, is joint second favorite with compatriot Nikola Kalinic to score the opening goal and anytime at 4/1 and 6/4 respectively.
Closing our top five are Andrej Kramaric and Duje Cop who have been quoted at 7/1 to open the scoring and 2/1 to score anytime, ahead of Ivan Rakitic and Nani, who are further down the list at 11/4 and 10/3 respectively to put their names on the score sheet. All odds offered by Betfair.
Betting Tips Euro 2016 Croatia vs Portugal: OVER/UNDER 2.5 MATCH GOALS
Somewhere in their last couple of matches, Croatia whitewashed San Marino 10-0 in a friendly while Portugal thrashed Estonia 7-0, but this are not the kinds of scorelines we’re expecting tonight. I fancy a +2.5 scoreline, nonetheless. Croatia have scored a total of five goals in the group stages while Portugal have scored four. Their latest matches ended in 3- and 6-goal scorelines respectively to serve as a reminder of what these teams can do when they are really playing for something (Portugal was playing for survival while Croatia was playing to win the group). Tonight they will be playing for the quarter final. Put two and two together.
The prospect of Over 2.5 Goals has been quoted at 9/5 while that of Under 2.5 Goals has been set at 1/2.
Betting Tips Euro 2016 Croatia vs Portugal: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE
There are simply too many finishers on the pitch tonight to let the match end in a goalless draw or even a clean sheet win for one. Furthermore, why fail to score tonight when they have been netting in all but two of their last 12 matches combined? Both teams to score has been quoted at 6/5 while Betfair’s pick – both or at least one team to not score – has been quoted at 3/4. Quite an alluring market for a riskier there.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the top goalscorer of all time for the Portugal national football team, with 55 goals in 122 appearances since his debut in 2003.
Ronaldo made his international debut for Portugal in August 2003, at the age of 18. Ronaldo is the first Portuguese player to reach 50 international goals, making him Portugal’s top goalscorer of all time as well as the country’s top scorer in the European Championship with 6 goals. He scored his first international goal in the opening game of Euro 2004 against Greece, and helped Portugal reach the final. He took over captaincy in July 2008, and he led Portugal to the semi-finals at Euro 2012, finishing the competition as joint-top scorer in the process. In November 2014, Ronaldo became the all-time top scorer in the UEFA European Championship (including qualifying) with 23 goals.
